The Northern Virginia Dance Academy is the studio home of the Asaph Dance Ensemble. Their mission is to provide serious, classical instruction in the traditional art of ballet, while providing an environment that inspires creativity, artistic self-expression, excellence and self-discipline. They firmly believe that, while the body is receiving the finest of training in ballet, the heart is being taught how to dance. NVDA is run by Robin Conrad Sturm and offers quality training in Ballet, Jazz, Modern, and Tap.
The Asaph Dance Ensemble is a member of the Prince William County Arts Council. The Arts Council is dedicated to encouraging and growing the arts in Prince William County through nonprofit and for-profit art organizations, individual artists, civic groups and businesses by networking, developing and helping to market the arts.
The Asaph Dance Ensemble is Affiliate Arts Organization at the Hylton Performing Arts Center. Partnering with George Mason University, Prince William County, City of Manassas, and the Commonwealth of Virginia, and many others brought together this wonderful state-of-the art theater that is home to the Merchant Hall, Gregory Family Theater, Didlake Grand Foyer, and the Buchanan Partners Arts Gallery.
